I am a full-time working, potty-mouthed and tempered, home-cooking, thrift-finding thirty-something mom on a budget. I live in Ontario, Canada with my family. I have two children, ages 12 and 14.

I created this blog as a diary , more of a hobby than anything else, but now I am using it as a platform to speak out about my personal family experiences and my daughter’s challenging time with mental illness. I am also sharing recipes, product reviews and any other occasional tidbits that I find interesting.

I could even picture the first day of school – but never did the teenage years enter into my wildest of dreams. A few things I figured out from raising a teenager.
