CopyPress utilizes a team of trained writers to produce large scale, quality content campaigns for clients in a variety of industries.

What Does It Take to Be a CopyPress Writer?

All CopyPress writers must:

  • Know how to research topics to uncover interesting stories
  • Have a high-level knowledge of grammar and writing mechanics
  • Have a strong command of the English language
  • Be able to construct clear, well-written copy
  • Understand how blog content differs from personal essays and creative writing pieces (be someone who regularly reads a lot of blogs)
  • Be able to follow directions to accomplish defined editorial objectives
  • Be reliable and dependable

How Do I Apply?

CopyPress is always accepting applications for two types of writers.

CopyPress General Writers

CopyPress General Writers become eligible for assignments with CopyPress by getting certified to write specific types of content (sharebait, product copy, infographics). General writers may receive assignments in a variety of niches.

General writers who are looking for frequent writing work in a variety of niches should apply via the following process:

  1. Register with CopyPress Community - If you haven’t already, Register Now and complete your CopyPress Community profile.
  2. Apply to Join a TeamApply to join one or more of our content teams.
  3. Complete CopyPress Application and HR Documents – Certified Writers will be sent a CopyPress application. Certified writers who complete an application will be notified if they are a fit for our current client campaigns and sent official CopyPress HR documents. Writers will have 10 days to return the HR documents.
  4. Review CopyPress Writer Training – Writers working with CopyPress should review the CopyPress Writer’s Guide which will explain all of the processes and policies of working with CopyPress as a writer.
  5. Start Receiving Assignments – Once all HR documents are processed, CopyPress will provide writers with access to our Content Management System. Writers will then be eligible for assignments that match their skill level.

Specialty Writers/Bloggers

Specialty Writers/Bloggers become eligible for assignments with CopyPress by proving that they can create content in a specific niche. Specialty Writers/Bloggers are only eligible for assignments that are within the industry of their specialty.

Writers who are experts in a specific industry or niche market (and only looking to receive work in that niche) should apply to work with CopyPress via the following process:

  1. Register with CopyPress Community – If you haven’t already, Register Now and complete your CopyPress Community profile.
  2. Apply to be a Specialty Writer/Blogger - Specialty writers/bloggers must prove that they are an expert in a niche market by completing a Specialty Writer/Blogger Application and providing relevant samples and proof.
  3. Complete CopyPress HR Documents – Writers will be notified if they are qualified to be a Specialty Writer with CopyPress and sent official CopyPress HR documents. Writers will have 10 days to return the HR documents.
  4. Review CopyPress Writer Training – Writers working with CopyPress should review the CopyPress Writer’s Guide which will explain all of the processes and policies of working with CopyPress as a writer.
  5. Become Eligible for Receiving Assignments – Once all HR documents are processed, CopyPress will notify the writer if we receive assignments that are a fit for the writer’s specialty.
